DualBond Bale Net Wrap | A Better Round Bale Wrap by Xinhui Netting

DualBond Bale Net Wrap — Round Bale Wrap Built Differently
Most bale net wrap on the market works the same way. Same knitted construction. Same thin loops. Same fiber shedding into your hay. Same joint failures at the cut point. The design hasn’t changed in decades, and neither have the problems that come with it.
DualBond is Xinhui Netting’s answer to those problems — a patented round bale net wrap built on a fundamentally different structure. Two wide HDPE strands. Crossed and fused. No loops, no fraying, no wasted weight.
The name says it: two strands. One bond. That’s the whole design.
What Is DualBond?
DualBond is a patented bale net wrap from Xinhui Netting. It uses the same HDPE material as conventional round bale net wrap, but the construction is completely different. Instead of thousands of thin threads knitted into loops, DualBond uses two wide strands — each roughly twice the width of a standard knitted thread — crossed at right angles and fused together at every intersection point.
The structure is simpler. The performance is better. And because every part of the material is load-bearing, there’s no wasted weight.
DualBond vs. Traditional Round Bale Net Wrap
| Feature | DualBond | Traditional Knitted Bale Net Wrap |
|---|---|---|
| Strand Width | ~2× wider than standard thread | Narrow, fine thread |
| Fiber Shedding | None | Common — frays at loop joints |
| Roll Weight | ~10–15% lighter | Heavier due to structural waste |
| Knife Feed | Cuts clean, no snag | Loop joints can snag or rebound |
| Bale Release | Clean one-piece removal | Can stick, especially in cold weather |
| UV Protection | More stabilizer per exposed surface | Diluted across many thin strands |
| Plastic Per Bale | Less | More |
| Patent Status | Patented | Standard open design |
Why Heavier Bale Net Wrap Isn’t Stronger
For a long time, roll weight has been used as a shorthand for quality. That made sense when every brand used the same construction — more material meant more strands, more strands meant a stronger hold.
DualBond changes that logic.
The weight in a typical knitted bale net wrap roll is not all doing useful work. A portion goes to the knit loop structure itself — required to hold the fabric together, but contributing little to bale-holding strength. More goes to the many thin, redundant strands needed to compensate for weak joints. And some ends up as frayed fiber waste, shed into your bale and your feed.
DualBond carries none of that overhead. Two wide strands, fused at every cross point. Every gram is structural. The result is a roll that is approximately 10–15% lighter than comparable knitted bale net wrap — with no reduction in holding performance.
Lighter rolls change faster. One person. No back strain. No helper needed at every swap.

What DualBond Does in the Field
No Fiber Shedding
DualBond doesn’t shed. There are no loop ends, no frayed fibers, nothing working loose during the wrap cycle. What goes onto the bale stays on the bale — and comes off clean when you remove it. Nothing left in the hay, the loader bucket, or the feed.
Clean Feed Through the Knife
DualBond feeds through the baler knife without the snag points created by knitted loop joints. The blade meets consistent material — no irregular joint spacing, no rebound at the cut. Cleaner cuts, faster cycling, less downtime mid-field.
Easy Release — Including in Cold Weather
DualBond comes off the bale in one piece. The structure doesn’t grip crop material at loop points the way knitted wrap does. In cold conditions — when frozen net wrap costs real time on cold mornings — this is one of the most practical differences you’ll notice.
Stronger UV Protection Per Square Foot
DualBond’s wider strands carry more UV stabilizer in the material that’s actually exposed to sunlight. UV-rated for a minimum of 12 months of outdoor storage. An 18+ month field-aging panel test is currently in progress; updated data will be published when the trial is complete.
Less Plastic Per Bale
Fewer strands. Wider. Less total material per bale. For large operations running thousands of bales a season, that adds up to a meaningful reduction in plastic — less in the field, less in the feed, less in the soil.

Who Uses DualBond?
DualBond is a strong fit for:
- Large hay operations — where roll changes, wrap speed, and fiber contamination directly affect daily output
- High-volume contractors — who need consistent knife feed and fast turnaround across long working days
- Cattle and dairy farms — where fiber in the feed is a recurring concern with conventional knitted wrap
- Operations focused on input efficiency — less plastic per bale, lighter rolls, lower freight per unit
- Cold-climate farms — where frozen net wrap and difficult bale release are a real seasonal problem
Compatibility With Modern Round Balers
DualBond is designed to work with most modern round balers used for hay, straw, and silage. Before first use, confirm:
- Net wrap width compatibility with your specific baler model
- Correct tension and brake settings
- Recommended number of wraps for your bale diameter and crop type

Frequently Asked Questions About DualBond
What is DualBond?
DualBond is Xinhui Netting’s patented round bale net wrap. It uses two wide HDPE strands fused at every intersection — a fundamentally different structure from the knitted loop construction used in conventional bale net wrap. The name reflects the design: two strands, one bond point.
Is DualBond compatible with my round baler?
Yes. DualBond is compatible with most modern round balers for hay, straw, and silage. Confirm width and tension settings for your specific model, or contact Xinhui Netting for baler-specific guidance.
If DualBond is lighter, is it weaker?
No. The lighter roll weight reflects the removal of structural waste — loop joints, redundant thin strands — not a reduction in the material doing the actual holding work. Two wide strands, fully fused, hold the bale effectively.
Will DualBond leave fiber in my hay or feed?
No. There are no loop ends in DualBond’s construction. Nothing frays, nothing sheds — not during wrapping, not on the bale, not at removal.
How many wraps are needed per bale?
This depends on bale diameter, crop type, density, and storage conditions. Requirements are generally comparable to standard bale net wrap. Contact Xinhui Netting for operation-specific guidance.
How long does DualBond hold up outdoors?
DualBond is UV-rated for a minimum of 12 months. An 18+ month field-aging panel test is currently in progress.
Is DualBond available for private label?
Yes. Xinhui Netting offers private label and custom branding options. Contact us directly for volume and specification details.
